We had a lovely evening at RAVE celebrating the launch of the book, there was one copy available for people to look at and a powerpoint presentation rolling on a big screen TV. The books are still sitting in Tauranga. Close to 100 hundred people came along and enjoyed a glass (or two) of bubbles and something to eat. Philippa Wells spoke on behalf of the Te Whakapono Health Trust, this group of volunteers have raised over $1,000,000.00 for health care in Rotorua and we hope this fundraising venture will also be successful for them. Guests were asked to enter a draw to win a copy and Philippa Gilmour (who tells me she never wins anything) was the lucky winner.

John Walters gave a very positive book review and we thank both John and Floss for coming along and supporting us. Mcleods Booksellers, a local business who are supportive of the local community, were representated by Fraser Newman and his wife.

RAVE, what a great group pf people. Cate, Kay and others that we met have been very supportive and we cannot thank you enough. If any of you are looking to have a function, please contact them.

Helen Wallbridge played the harp, beautifully. I know Helen was nervous about the event: Helen, everyone thought you were great, thank you so very much.

For all who took the time to come along it was great seeing you there. We will keep you all posted on the arrival of the books.
